Project Background Overview
TOGG is Turkey's national electric vehicle brand, known for its high recognition in its home market. It plans to enter five market segments by 2030, with a total production volume of 1 million electric vehicles. As a supplier of power battery system solutions for new energy vehicles, the company is a leading enterprise in the research, development and production of lithium-ion power batteries for new energy vehicles and vehicle battery systems in China. It has established a partnership with TOGG for many years to provide it with excellent products and services. In order to match the launch progress of TOGG's new models, new module and battery pack production lines need to be built.
Project challenges
When undertaking overseas projects, domestic wire body suppliers usually face two main problems:
The equipment and components used need to meet the electrical standards of the target country.
Measurements cannot be taken at the construction site.
Solution proposed
Products exported to Türkiye need to obtain corresponding certifications. All rittal products comply with IEC electrical standards, making it easier for customers to meet IEC requirements with their overall solutions. Due to the accelerated iteration of battery technology, it is difficult for existing equipment to meet the market environment or production line transformation needs in a timely manner. Rittal cooperates with Yipan Company to establish an electrical design and management platform based on EPlan electrical design to fully realize the 3D design of Rittal enclosures. Using digital twin technology to combine virtuality and reality, the entire equipment layout can be viewed during the project design stage. At the same time, it is effectively connected with the electrical and mechanical mechanism design links, and what you see is what you get, fully reflecting Rittal-Thesystem's ability to provide customers with comprehensive system solutions. This effectively solves the problem of not being able to go to the construction site for on-site measurements.
TOGG project implementation
In the TOGG project, rittal China relied on its advantages of strong supply capacity and rapid delivery to provide customers with a complete set of solutions including chassis Rittal cabinet, power distribution components, Rittal Air Conditioner and temperature control systems, and IT Rittal electric cabinet. This not only meets the needs of user enterprises for digital transformation, but also shortens the line construction cycle and reduces construction costs.
