Rittal enclosures comfort handle with key function
This Rittal electric cabinet handle has door lock and handle lever monitoring functions. Key means independence from the control system. This type of handle can always be opened with a key. The handle is supplied with a half-round lock (safety lock 3524E), or a DIN18254 standard half-round lock with a total length of 40 mm can be used. Each Rittal cabinet handle must have an access sensor (DK7320530) fixed to the corresponding door.
If the handle lever of the Rittal enclosures is closed, the locking structure integrated in the handle is automatically locked. The handle can be opened via the CMC-TC system or via optional additional systems such as a contact magnetic card reader. There is no voltage when the handle is locked (no electrical connection). After the electricity is connected, the button can be pressed to release the handle lever, and the door must be opened within 15 seconds.
Priority is always given to unlocking with the key, which means that the Rittal cabinet can be opened with the key whether it is electrically locked or in the event of a power outage (emergency opening).

Rittal electric cabinet locking units consist of a Rittal handle system that locks the handle electromagnetically. It contains an identification signal that enables it to be automatically recognized and set by the CMC-TC system. The power input and data exchange on the access unit takes place via the connected connecting cable. Door monitoring always requires an access sensor (DK7320530). Once the door is closed and the handle is locked, the lock can be activated by turning on the lock magnet. The CMC-TC pulls out the handle by closing the locking magnet so the door can be opened. The command to unlock a Rittal enclosures door can be initiated via an access unit, such as a card reader, a contactless magnetic card reader, a combination lock and/or a network management system. The controller system also includes a controller monitor. If the handle is not pushed in and locked after the door is closed, the CMC-TC will send out an alarm signal.
The push button assembly supplied can also be replaced with a safety lock cylinder.
