Rittal enclosures SSC converter VT100 (RS-232)
for sSCpremium
The Rittal SSC adapter enables integration in SSCpremium systems and remote management of active network components (e.g. Ethernet switches) that have serial management ports and support VT100 interactive mode. Serial output signals are transmitted via the KVM matrix ( ASCII character set) is converted into a video signal. Instead, the keyboard input signal is converted back in series.

Flexible, preformed Cat5STP adapter cables with screen-tap RJ45 plugs for connecting SSC converters and SSC consoles to SSC premium switches. This cable is installed according to AT&T258A/T568B wiring at 1:1 and meets the requirements of ISOOMEC11801, ULE151955

With this adapter it is possible to open the socket strip power control unit (DK7200001) and the active PSM module (DK7856201) individually or in pairs (for servers with redundant power supplies). This control occurs via the SSCpremium integrated OSD.
It can connect up to 8 PSM and PCU modules (up to 64 C13 slots of EN60320). Each server can have up to 3 sockets.
Therefore hardware startup of each independent server can be achieved through the connected user console, or through the IP network connected to the SSCIP console.

The scope of delivery includes a 2.5 m long connecting cable for connecting the Rittal enclosures SSCpremium and the SSC power control.
