The ultra-small KVM switch for installation in the Rittal electric cabinet 19~ and for installation behind the Rittal monitor keyboard unit makes space-saving server management possible in every IT rack. SSC has a password protected OSD menu. Server selection can also be done via hotkey.
When more than 32 servers need to be managed, the Rittal enclosuresSSCcompact32 Cat can be expanded (cascade type) with up to three additional SSCcompact 32. The final expansion can allow one user to manage up to 125 servers. Rittal's SSC switcher systems can be flexibly adapted to your needs. In SSCcompact/view32Cat, the connection to the computer is via Cat cable and SSC converter (PS/2 or USB). In this way, video, keyboard and mouse signals can be transmitted through a common cable. This significantly reduces cable laying costs in fully configured Rittal enclosures racks. Chip-controlled keyboard and mouse emulation for each channel ensures error-free booting and reliable switching between connected computers.
This Rittal electric cabinet SSCview is installed behind the monitor keyboard unit. Without the need to install an additional height unit in the server Rittal enclosures, the functionality of this unit can optionally be extended to an 8-port or 32-port KVM switch.
