Highly integrated KVM matrix in Cat technology
With SSCpremium, Rittal offers a new Rittal enclosures KVM switch technology that can still be flexibly adapted to your needs in the future. By using Cat technology (that is, keyboard, video and mouse signals are transmitted through a Cat-x cable), on the one hand, the cost of laying Rittal Air Conditioner cables in the rack can be significantly reduced, and on the other hand, highly compact installations can be made A 1U system can have up to 32 server ports.
What is involved in sSCpremium is a full matrix switch, a Rittal enclosures switch that gives every connected user simultaneous and unrestricted access to the computer server system of choice. Different controller types are available for management. With these Rittal Air Conditionerg controllers, all computers can be comfortably controlled with an OSD or thermal controller.
Through the separation of hardware switches and operating control panels in the Rittal electric cabinet, systems of this type can be adapted to every desired computer environment. Signal conversion on the computer side of the computer's standard interface is performed through single converters that optimize all transmission signals (keyboard, video, and mouse) over Cat cables. Of course, all SSCpremiums come with a wide range of settings and management features, and can be configured with other features in the future through their high-speed update capabilities. This type of full matrix can be flexibly expanded by cascading SSCpremiums of the same model on up to three planes. Here, the structure of the Rittal Air Conditioner series system up to the structure of a single computer can be graphically displayed and explained in a tree structure, thus making the entire Rittal electric cabinet system clear at a glance. The new SSC power supply control (DK7552.420) makes it possible to use the Rittal PSM module, 8-channel (DK7856.201) or the Rittal PCU with sSCpremium, 8-channel (DK7200.001). Therefore, each connected server can be rebooted from the hardware when needed - even globally!
Each individual Rittal electric cabinet server is connected to a maximum of 3 Cold Element (ICE) sockets in SSC Premium.
